As for being the only one Alan, I think Murdock is of the same beliefs.

Re: V1 Router FW Rollouts?
If you really want to not accept it then telnet the router and type in the following commands..
nvram unset daily_check
nvram unset nvram_need_post
nvram unset ppp_terminate
nvram unset prov_last_attempt_time
nvram unset prov_last_update_time
nvram unset prov_post_status
Note these will reset and the router will search for the FW if you reboot the router.

Re: V1 Router FW Rollouts?
In most software development life cycles, regressions are generally regarded as a show stopper. A typical set of release criteria would be "no major bugs and no regressions". Indeed, that last requirement might be why we've had to wait so long for this update.

Re: V1 Router FW Rollouts?
More confirmations regarding this and also a mention of staff being offered overtime to ring customers to find out if all is fine afterwards.

1 million phone calls could take a long while to do, plenty of overtime if that is the case.
I'm a PC, and Windows 7 Backup saved my sanity when BitDefender imploded !!!

Re: V1 Router FW Rollouts?
Well, it looks like i just had my FW update at about 00.19, couldn't get on for about ten minutes after it... but then it seems to have righted itself. I'm fantastic mind you.

What's the firmware version reported in the router?

So, why's it all gone quiet? Is this all hot air?
