Sagem F@ST 2504 Sky includes:

1 x Netgear Wireless router
3 x ADSL Filters
1 x RJ11 cable
1 x RJ45 cable
1 x Version 3 Get Set CD
1 x 12v 0.75A PSU
Just a little typo, But I guess it should be corrected as imo, Im sure this thread will get alot of traffic,
Or was that a purpose error that might have been made on the Sky Details??

Re: Sky send us both new routers to review

Received my new netgear router today, first thing i have noticed as compared to my own DG834GT which i have had for a couple of years, the attenuation on my line has risen by 1db (uesd to be 29Db now 30Db) and the snr margin fluctuates between 5-7.whereas my old router was constant at 29db and snr 7.However i am connected at 8128 down and 448 up on Connect which was activated today.which is the same as when i was with Zen internet.

Re: Sky send us both new routers to review

I have the new router and the wireless connection is a fraction of the my ol' linksys - I am currently running at between 1 to 4mb connection with frequent drops of signal al together. - I am 6 ft from the router directly above it give or take two feet to the left.

Spoken to first tier support and they advised chagingthe channel - done on the maintenance page in the router

They also told me that Sky only support channels 1, 6 and 11 -

Re: Sky send us both new routers to review

What router is it? Netgear or Sagem?

My router is under a shelf approx 20 foot away with walls and a ceiling in the way, and wireless on my laptop is on very good. Just under 7mb connection wise, and on Channel 11.

Re: Sky send us both new routers to review

I so wish I had one of these, the white v1's are just a tad bit buggy

Do they let you keep both of these now or do you have to send them back becuase if your not allowed to give one away then what the hell do they want you to do with 2 boxes because you can only really use one of them yourself

Oh and the box would be assigned to you anyway, durr on me :P

Re: Sky send us both new routers to review

Is it possible to buy the latest Sky routers if you're an existing customer?
