      Re: Pricing for October

I only joined Sky a couple of moths back, I was supprised to see my bill this moth 17, used to be 15, I assumed that I was on a 12 month contract and the cost would remein the same????
Surely they should have given me some notice of the increase?

      Re: Pricing for October

Mine has just gone up from 20 pm to 22 pm (2mixes+mid). I too find this 10% increase OTT.
Sky are penalising subscribers who only take the basic TV package.
On the other hand Sky+ is subscription free and I used to pay 17.99 pm to Orange for 2mb broadband, so can't moan too much! (or can I!?)

      Re: Pricing for October

From what I can gather on the Sky website a new customer who subscribes to bb and talk would get a Sky+ for 99 plus install! Total 129! However an existing (11 Years) customer needs to pay 149 plus install! Total 179. So again the existing customer gets the rubbish deal. Have I understood this right?

That is how I would view it and it's doesn't come as a surprise that new customers get a better deal as Sky are all about attracting new subscibers and they really don't care much about us long term customers. I guess all that counts is their 'new subscriber figures' and deals like these will real them in.
