      well thats put a smile to my face newsreader

      But good news i managed to speak to someone on tier 1 and they spoke to someone on tier 3 and they reduced my max delays. and its cut my ping time in half.

      now im off to have that carlsberg

      What phone number are you ringing? Unless I'm totally blind and dumb, I can't seem to find a number to call? Also, how do you find out what SKY BB you even have? (I stupidly let my wife sort the connection out)

      Connection Speed 8096 kbps 416 kbps
      Means you must be on Mid I think, which is up to 8mb.

      Unless you are a gamer, doing this will make no difference.

      All I do is play games - ALOT

      The wife wanted the SKY broadband not me, I used to play Quake3 heavily, but since that died I've mostly been playing MMO's so the ping's havent been a massive issue, BUT - now I'm really loving Teamfortress2 and the pings are very irritatingly bad. I'm a pretty fierce competitor and I like to win, and it cheeses me off to think that I've allowed my wife to sign me up to an ISP for 12 months that I wont be able to game competitively on.

      Only myself to blame ofcourse, but I was seduced by the thought of having all that football available on SKY Sports

      Not any more! Get on the phone if possible and ask Sky to reduce them, then there is no excuse for your poor game play, stop blaming the Mrs and practise

      Any idea where I can find an appropriate phone number to ring? I'm really quite bad over the phone and the thought of spending hours being redirected gives me a headache. Thanks in advance for wiping my bottom
