      Hi Sorry but the connect package is a re-badged Bt product for Sky Customers who do not have Sky LLU in there exchange or if Sky LLU is in the exchange there
      is no Sky LLU slots available then you would go on the connect package as for upgrades impossible

      As Isitme say look at (Unofficial) FAQ - Sky Connect Users there are various threads about connect Customers who are having problems also if you did not know the connect package is Traffic Shaped from 4 or 5pm till Midnight if you are unlucky
      can go on till 2 or 3am as for gaming sorry no good

      Have Sky enabled your exchange? If they have send them frequent emails asking to be transferred to LLU. If it is not, get out and find an ISP with a less aggressive throttling policy.

      The connect package is Traffic Shaped from 4pm till Midnight the problem is connect is over Subscribed

      I tried to run some speed tests on your line but was unsuccessful as it seems that your broadband box is either turned off or unplugged.
      Can you please make sure that your broadband box is left turned on and plugged into a working telephone socket at all times until you get a reply from us.
      I also would be grateful if you could reply to this email confirming this has been done.

      Thats a drop of around 10/11ms from my ping before which is HUGE in my book Connection is still pretty much rock solid and at full 16Meg too which is a bonus...

      Hi i was just wondering if anything could be done to increase my download speed or lower my pings through sky

      Some information you may want

      Sky max 16mb

      Speed test on this website
      Your download speed is 5240Kbps. Your upload speed is 608Kbps.

      According to speed test.net
      68ms download 7.34mb/s upload 0.64mb/s Distance <50 miles

      I have also done a ping test to jolt.co.uk

      Ping statistics for 84.234.17.86:

      Minimum = 31ms, Maximum = 117ms, Average = 33ms

      I get around 40 - 45ms on uk css servers

      and the highest download speed ive seen is 850kb/s (Steam,Rapidshare,Megaupload etc)

      can the regrade to everyday (which i have just gone through) increase the ping?

      my ping has always been 26-27ms after i had my max delay reduced to 8 about a year ago...... it has now just jumped up to 37ms after the regrade....

      Noise Margin 10 db 22 db

      it was 8188/412 last night, but it doesnt say on MY SKY that line testing in underway?
