Re: Picnic Broadband?
Some further clarification.
Just had a read-through of the picnic thread and in case it wasnt already apparent I can confirm that the Picnic name is not a codename as someone suggested as the SSID on the aforementioned Picnic router is in the format PicnicXXXXX.

Re: Picnic Broadband?
Funny you should say that.
A few of the domains registered are registered through the same registrar as Sky
picnicmail.co.uk 17/08/07 - not sure if related
picniclinerental.co.uk 17/08/07 - not sure if related
picnicsms.co.uk 17/08/07 - not sure if related
But they all point to: Home

Re: Picnic Broadband?
So, and im just wondering here,. If sky decided to go as picnic broadband totally - and as it would seem they have registered for their own forums etc, would that make skyuser redundant?
or the name i mean if the sky name disappeared

Re: Picnic Broadband?
Why would SkyUser be redundant?
afaik Sky Broadband will still exist, Sky TV will still exist, PICNIC is the new name for the broadband for none Sky TV customers. SkyUser is for all things Sky, ie BB and TV
