Sky Email to be migrated to Google Soon

      Unconfirmed

Rumour has it that the change over of Sky's email servers to Google will be fairly soon, as in weeks not months.

As far as we know, there will still be the same 10 email address's allowed and each Sky Broadband Customer will have 10gb of storage included.

You will still keep the @sky.com email address's and nothing should really change apart from "it works" for everyone.

As I said in the other thread yesterday if you are farmiliar to Gmail then you will know your way around this as it is the same.

      It looks good though.

Well hopefully, once they get the email sorted, the Gamers will be next and they will bring a Gamer's profile out.

Are the pop settings likely to change? I have set quite a few friends and family up on Outlook, I dont fancy going round and doing them all again!

I would have thought there would definitely be a change. As soon as we find out we will add a tutorial for it, and I cannot see Sky "not" publishing it on their site etc.

Very well integrated in the email front but the calendar just looks like Google. I like the email colours better than Gmail!

Will the applets like gmail-notifier work with the sky address and will you be able to add a mini-skymail to your customised google home page?
