      Don't hold your breath!

The generic version has not been updated in some time so no chance of the sky version getting updated anytime soon!

Who said there's a problem with the supplied router? Personally and i`m sure there are lots of others who haven't had any problems with the router supplied. In my experience, i've found that a lot of people try to 'fix' things before any such problem actually arises because they've heard of someone, or know of someone else who has had a problem and not because they've actually had any problem themselves.........yet!

Re: The new Sky Router is on its way

We know that there is a new firmware for the V1 router - Netgear D834GT badged as a Sky one.

The firmware is not ready yet, but in development.

Rumour has it that the New Router is back on and that the decision to cancel it has now been reversed. Unconfirmed.

Hopefully they will have a USB one that can work with the Sky+ on the VoD when it comes around.

I don't suppose these rumours extended to confirming if these new routers are for new customers only or for everyone.

Re: The new Sky Router is on its way

Again most probably another "Buy to get extra features".

But again, Im not sure they will, Cause this will simply be another blow,

e.g, Some had to get new Sky+ boxes to get Anytime and if this router is suggested for around the expected launch of the VoD, It could mean those Sky+ Upgraders have to pay more again for those features.
