The new Sky Router is on its way

This is a discussion on The new Sky Router is on its way within the Sky news and announcements forums, part of the SkyUser Announcements category; I humbly offer my services to provide an independent evaluation of the new router - lol...

Yep I would too.... as long as I could keep the netgear for back up!

I doubt they would replace routers by default. The number of people with 'real' problems will be a small percentage, so unless they they think by replacing the routers people will pay for VOD tehn they won;t replace them.

Do you think they will review their policy about forcing you to use their router?

Re: The new Sky Router is on its way

Allegedly there are two models of the new router, one is a Netgear, and the other as we reported ages ago is a Sagem, this is not confirmed either way.

Don't think they will as they say it's to allow them to support customers easily because everyone will be using the same equipment. Allegedly.

VOD - Video on Demand, sorry I should have put that in my post.
