      Ciel asked
As a letter? Got a code to share?
Sorry, if there was a code I did not see it or use it. When I phoned I was just asked for my name, account number, phone number and post code. The follow up is in another post.

Blimey, that's a lot of TV you like to watch and record - I'm surprised you can find that much qualtitive stuff to watch on the Sky platform

Seriously though, I think Sky+ is such an intuitive system and currently beats the competition (although some of the freeview PVR's are coming along nicely such as the Humax 9200T). What if it had three tuners? Would you be saying why can't I record four channels? The other thing, with multi channel digital TV and the +1 hour offset channels if you miss a recording the first time round its bound to be on again within a few days.

      Re: Sky+ Subscriptions

      It's an outrage
they havn't really made sky+ free
they've included it in standard subscription fees
and jack the standard subscription free up by £10
i dont know how they can do this
what if i refuse to accept the price increase?

      Re: Sky+ Subscriptions

Where have they raised it by £10.

I will agree that mine was increased by £10 but found out to be a clerical error. They had forgot to take my connect dicount off as I am in the £5 connect package.

Have you recently moved to Max?

      Re: Sky+ Subscriptions

      I phoned them and checked
      they have not increased it
they just included my broadband subscription in the new price they quoted
which seems to be the exact same price i've been paying all along

      Outrageous Increase

I had Sky+ installed on 9th August; this was an upgrade from Sky basic box.

Before the Sky+ I was on a £28.00pm package of 2-mix plus Sky Sports 1 since March, (yes you can have just one sports).

Since then I have received an online invoice for £42.10 for August, and yesterday a letter giving my new charges as £48.00 per month 'till September, then £47.00 per month. The letter acknowleges I have the above package and a "Sky+ Subscription".

I paid separately for the Sky+ box/installation by Debit Card. I do not have multiroom OR HD.

My bill has increased by £20pm for having "free" Sky+.

Billing letter has been returned to J. Murdoch.

I hope you included this excerpt from the Sky T & Cs-

Sky+: Sky+ box £99. Only compatible with digital satellite. Sky digital subscription required for Sky digital programming. Sky+ can store an average of 40 hours of programmes at a time. Sky+ subscription required to use the Personal Video features of Sky+/Sky HD boxes. Sky+ subscription is free for Sky digital subscribers while you subscribe to any Sky digital package, otherwise £10 per month. A one-off £30 standard set-up cost applies when you take up any combination of Sky products before 14 September.
Sky accounts seem to be as incompetent as CS T1. Every one I know, including myself, have had problems with Sky accounts

I had an offer on the install/box but nevertheless the charge is wrong - they seem to be charging me for Multiroom x 2.
