Sounds like some of you would welcome Sky gaining a monopoly of paid for broadcasting.

Probably worth listening to the concerns for freedom of information and stock market transparency that US politicians and Wall Street commentators are raising about the prospect of Murdoch taking over the Dow Jones publishers.

      Not at all.

Sky may be bad, but they do not do everything possible to make their customers want to leave. They have a long way to go to make those with problems want to stay, but from what I can see, those on VM had no problems before.

VM have refused to pay for their content and are now imposing rediculous download capping. If I were a VM customer I would leave as well.

Hopefully Sky will use all the extra income to improve all their resources and batter out the roughness within the CS department, not the staff but the training and ability to operate efficiently.

I am all for competition, its healthy. Although the customer should not suffer because of it.

no i agree,. before VM took over blueyonder ran smoothly for alot of people - no caps no slowdowns it made ADSL look like a cheaper alternative - and it was priced reasonably

I have always thought that the Virgin brand is expensive full stop. Look at their shops for example before the online competition came along they were and probably still arte one of the most expenisve places to buy DVDs and the like.
