      Re: Dear Sky Broadband

Hi m8, are you sure you are not on mid ? Also your nr is low and att is high. Sorry to be the bearer of bad news but your line errors are way too high. Are these stats from the test socket ?

      Re: Dear Sky Broadband

Here are stats from test socket, also as far as I know, I'm paying 10/month so it should be max isn't it? As for the line quality, can't do much about it can I? As I said in my previous posts, it used to work smooth with exactly same config and no alterations to the line.

      Re: Dear Sky Broadband

Sure these are from the test socket? thats the one behind the face plate, you are showing major CRC errors! Rule of thumb is CRC's should not exceed 0.1% of SF's transmitted, you are way way over that which means most of the data coming down your line is corrupt and having to be retransmitted!

Yes, the last stats are from the test socket behind the plate. I do have a lossy&laggy connection, which is driving me mad while playing online, I can see packets virtually "flying around". What can be the remedy since I've already done all the tests? I've got my connection back now, but I'm sure that's not the last time it's down as it happened already before, never for 5days though. Thanks for looking at my stats guys, do you have any ideas what else can be done?

Edit 22.06: pings to my ribbleton exchange are now 59-60ms...

      Re: Dear Sky Broadband

ive only been with SKY BB for 5 days getting 50-60 on my clans server for games but anywhere else and im hitting 100+ which means servers kick for high pings making gameplay none existant.

Will try test socket in case that shows any difference but sky keeps making excuses saying is the YORK exchange which has a problem.

      Re: Dear Sky Broadband

All this about gaming issues is quite simple, yet SKY don't understand. If they made an option for interleaved or fastpath, things would be much easier and less stressful. It won't cost their business much. In fact, they could and probably would make alot of money giving the option for gamers to change to fastpath while charging a small fee for doing so. E.g. 5 extra per month for fastpath users which is perfectly acceptable! So c'mon SKY employers reading, isn't there something you guys can say to senior members of SKY to let this option be available as there is evidence of need of this and that there is a huge market out there for gamers. And after all their CS phonecalls, yet they still have not resolved an issue that quite big. Also, I heard people were put on fastpath for testing, so does this mean that we could see fastpath option soon? Make it happen please!

      Sean
