I had the same problem. I can't remember exactly how I fixed it. If you try doing a manual update by clicking on the M in the taskbar you may get the option to register for updates. I think this is how I did this!

      Re: McAfee Security Suite 2007

Iíve installed the updated package and am running Vista Ultimate. We have 3 users on the one PC, 1 as the admin and the other two with a limited account.

Does anyone know where the option is to allow a limited user full access the internet without McAfee blocking the site saying that as they are on an INTRANET.

I can't find it - though I'll probably slap my head and say doh!! when its pointed out to me.

      Re: McAfee Security Suite 2007

I used it for a couple of months and found it way too complicated when trying to tweak it.my patience ran out when i was notified of a major online update which needed to be downloaded and installed. When I did this all hell broke loose,100% cpu,no msn for my daughter,pc freezing etc. That was enough for me,I'm now back to AVG and no more problems.

      Re: McAfee Security Suite 2007

It's not been too much of an issue for me but it did mess up my file and printer sharing and if I can't get that fixed then I'll be uninstalling.

      Re: McAfee Security Suite 2007

I installed this but can't get updates. I advises "Authentication Failed" and asks if I want to verify my subscription or cancel. If I go for verify it takes me online to verify and completes verification and if I then try to update I go round and round.

      Any Ideas?????
