      There is cable in Ryhope - about 2 miles away from me (but in Tyne & Wear)
      I hadn't realised that there wasn't anywhere in Co. Durham cabled.

      That sucks big style!

      I'm off Coxhoe exchange, 4 miles south of Durham City and there is no cable anywhere, not even the surrounding areas

      I used to live in Bowburn - my mother used to run Coxhoe club - quite a few years back though!

      @Hughjarse

      I think the cable services has missed us out because Durham is one of the least populated Counties in England.

      @deskmonkey

      You are absolutely miles away from Bishop Auckland Exchange.

      Re: BSkyB response to Ofcom statement

      hmmm... tell me about it, as you'll know there are actually two exchanges half the distance from me. I can actually see one of them from the upstairs window! I've never understood why the whole village is on the BA exchange and not either Spennymoor or Willington. BT never provided an explanation either. It seems though that I'm stuck on it.
      For those local and understand the locations - three villages (Byers Green, Newfield and Binchester) are actually closer to the Spennymoor exchange but are connected to an exchange about 4 further miles away at Bishop Auckland.
      Explain that if you can

      Re: BSkyB response to Ofcom statement

      Geographically, Willington Exchange is a lot closer than Bishop Auckland. Is the whole of Byers Green serviced by Bishop Auckland exchange, it has been known that some villages have been split between two exchange areas.
