      Should that happen, you always have the DVD, which of course you can't copy (see another thread).

      Some of the content that was made available specifically during the beta test period is no longer available and can no longer be viewed on our STBs.

      Of course at this time I would not expect Sky to be removing anything from their library that has been made available to everyone.

      Why?

      Server space isn't infinite, or cheap.
      Never mind performance issues when full etc.

      Who knows what the future will bring. I expect a time will come when it is no longer available to download, however just because a title is no longer available to purchase from Sky Store does not mean that the video has been removed from Sky's servers.

      This is the point that perhaps I didn't make too clear, thank you.

      As for the space, hard drive space is getting cheaper all the time. Remember too that if won't be one Sky customer wanting access to a film at a later date. Sure they won't all be wanting access at the same time.

      So nobody knows what happens in that scenario then.
