hi i have had sky for 4 years then had a 2 year break then i asked to switch sky back on again but sky told me that i have to have a 12 month contract even though a paid sky for 2 years well paid for box (sky plus) they want me to have a new box and subscibe for 12 months i wanted sky hd and then down grade to sky plus still leaving me with bbc hd and other free hd channels but they said no not posssable. can you help ? i have written to sky this can though take 14 days!

if you order sky hd(now on offer) then you need to have a 12-month contract for the hd subs so, the best way is to resubscribe to sky with standard sky, when the installer has gone change the box to your plus box, ring up and get the card paired, and get a hd box from ebay etc where theres no subscription contract.
