      cables on a sky+HD box

      If one of the cables was disconnected on Sky+HD box would I still get all my channels? I have full package,and would I lose being able to record. The reason I'm wanting to know is my son reckons I will get all the channels and I said you need both cables.Thanks for any info.alan p.

      You would still be able view all of the channels that you subscribe to.

      However without the 2nd feed from the dish you will only be able to record the programme / channel the box was tuned to at the time, so no recording one channel while watching another.

      For this set-up to work properly you must enable 'single feed mode' on the box.
