Angry Loss of sound on odd channels since SS5 activation via screen Button

      HI,
My SKY HD audio setup was working fine until two days ago!

I recently attempted to activate SS5 via the Button on the TV screen - the action took ages but never appeared to complete fully!

Using my TV today, I have noticed loss of sound on a few of the channels (all HD related).

I use 405 regularly for the sports news, but today this has now lost sound - yet SS5 welcome channel, plus SS1/2/3/4 etc all have audio.

Can anyone tell me, Is this - or can this be related to the attempted SS5 activation attempt, I just find it weird with the main impact being for 405?

*I also appear to have lost my audio on eurosport as well!

I have tried total switch off - unplug etc, still with the same result - can you help or advise please.

      Thanks

      CITYDOGMAN2

I am connected via HDMI from Box to TV

Could I ask you to check the sound settings on your Sky+ HD STB?

      <Services> 0 2

What is the setting for 'Digital Audio Output - HDMI'?

If you have set this to Dolby D, it might be that your TV is incompatible with Sky's DD output via the HDMI feed.

Try emptying your Deleted programs folder and do a Sky+ rebuild. Services 001, Select 7, Select twice. I occasionally loose sound on my recorded programs, this usually fixes it.

I have to doubt it has anything to do with activating SS5, or there would have been many more complaints.
