Remote and recording questions.

Evening folks. My HD remote died on me this evening, tried changing the batteries but no joy. None of the buttons work and the light is not coming on. Do Sky replace these? I've only had the HD for a couple of months.

Second thing, the booklet that came with the box states that you can record 2 things at once, but it's not letting me. A screen comes up with the 2 programmes i want to record, and also one i want to watch. I have the option to backup and record the 1st only, or select and record the 2nd only. Hope that makes sense lol, cheers.

They should replace it provided you havent had it longer than 12 months and it is genuinally faulty. Might be a stupid question but verify the batteries are in the correct way - you wouldnt believe the number of people who do this by accident!

You can record 2 programs at once OR record 1 program and watch 1 program OR record 2 programs and watch a recorded program.
You cannot watch a program whilst recording two others. This is how it is supposed to work

They do change no problem.
Also if you had sky+ before you can use that remote,mine worked when the new one went toes up.

Thanks for the answers, and thanks for recording the recording issue up. The batteries were in the right way lol, seems it was a bad contact with the buttons as after pressing them all it's now working.
