      Single Feed Mode Query

Owing to issues on my second feed I have had to enable single feed mode recently. A few things i've noticed and whilst I dont think they are normal want to check with others.
1, The odd Recordings FAILED with "No Signal" from when the box is in standby
2, When putting on to watch it sometimes it seems that input 1 doesnt get used and it attempts to use input 2 with "No satellite signal" this fixes itself if I make a recording on another channel with the no satellite signal message then change to that channel and it uses input 1 again.

Single Feed Mode is definitely enabled so these two things have got me baffled.

The only thing I can think of is to make sure Anytime is disabled. It is, by default, disabled in Single Feed Mode to avoid signal problems.

      Re: Single Feed Mode Query

We only have 1 feed to our HD box and we have to do the following:

      1) Switch off Anytime (as you have already), otherwise it pretty much goes to the no signal received message every morning.
      2) When adding a recording to the planner, you must switch it to the relevant channel before it is due to start or it will fail. If you don't do this, You will find that changing to any other channel will say no signal received until you cancel the recording in the planner.

If you stick to this, it will work normally but you cannot record and watch another channel at the same time.

Hope I'm not telling granny how to suck eggs here...!

      Re: Single Feed Mode Query

As for #2 yes I do that when the box is on but notwhen it's on standby as it *should* sort it out itself. I've had input 1 getting "stuck" again today, it always 100% of the time seems to get stuck on transport stream 0968. It only unlocks if when i'm looking at "No Satellite Signal Is Being Received" scan to another channel and tell it to record a program and then change to that channel and cancel the recording. It then behaves normally again, i'm reckoning this is just a single feed mode problem in the thomson SKY HD firmware.
