SKY 3D is AWESOME!!!!!
Hello sky users, i went to westfield shopping centre in shepherds bush today and there is a SKY stand there and they have set up a SKY3D demo running on an LG 50" 3D ready HDTV and i can safely say, SKY3D is AWESOME !!! its mindblowningly unbelieveable, the 3D is excellent and there is absolutely no loss in HD quailty, WOW WOW WOW is all i can say !!!! you have to wear the real3D glasses that they give you at the cinema,i went to see AVATAR 3D and i forgot i even had the glasses on after a while because this next gen 3D is so good you just get mezmerised by it, SKY 3D is the real deal people, its like getting HD all over again but even better. it was so much better than i thought it would be, its way beyond the old stereoscope 3D that uses the red and green lens glasses that totally mess with your eyes and gives you a headache. this is truely space age inovation, so please sky users, get yourself to one of the demos that SKY are running around the country, and be AMAZED.....peace and love dudes.

Re: SKY 3D is AWESOME!!!!!
Problem is that a demo will be the best that they have to offer. Will the actual 3d channel live up to the same.

Re: SKY 3D is AWESOME!!!!!
i'm sure it will mate, but we can allways check it out in the pubs first when it launches in april, we wont get it untill oct-nov when the 3DTV's go on full retail sale, but i think i will wait a bit because they will cost about £2,500+ at launch,

I'm going for the Panasonic 50inch 3D Model along with the new Blueray DVD that goes with the TV.
My present 42inch HD TV is Panasonic and i've had no problem with that model and my TV before that was the same, along with my present DVD recorder and old video recorder before that.

Re: SKY 3D is AWESOME!!!!!
I'm sure 3D will be fantastic but given they haven't got much content for HD there will be even less on offer for 3D.I'll give it some time before I part with any cash so I'll have more choice.Incidentally, does anyone know of any 3D programs or series in production or is it just sport and movies that we can expect ?

Re: SKY 3D is AWESOME!!!!!
As someone of "advanced years", I have already been there, done it, and had the T-shirt. 3D movies have been around at least twice before, and they didn't catch on then, either, but in those days disillusioned viewers only lost the price of a cinema ticket.
3D is a flash in the pan to get money out of gullible punters. The broadcasters should spend their money bringing better quality HD pictures.

As far as I know, there will be a channel which will show 3D content. It won't be a dedicated Movie channel, or Sports. It will show whatever content that happens to be available.
