Re: Sky+HD New EPG Bugs/Faults/Workarounds
Thomson Version No. 4E300E with 1TB HDD and new PSU.
Well I now have the new EPG. First impression is that the text is very small on my TV upstairs (24inch CRT).
Can't see any option to change the text size tho, although I'm sure it's something that i'll get used to quickly (bit like when you increase the resoluiton on your PC I suppose).

Re: Sky+HD New EPG Bugs/Faults/Workarounds
Some menu's appear to 'lock' and you cant move up to get back out of them.
However, this is because on some of them you have to 'back up' to get back to the main menu strip at the top instead of just pressing the up arrow.

Re: Sky+HD New EPG Bugs/Faults/Workarounds
Some menus appear blank when you move to them. If a menu appears blank after moving to it, then press 'SELECT' and the contents then appear.

Re: Sky+HD New EPG Bugs/Faults/Workarounds
Anybody got any pictures of it? Just wondering how sharp is it the old EPG was a bit blurry. I have a 4E300C so I guess I will have to wait.

Re: Sky+HD New EPG Bugs/Faults/Workarounds
I'll have a look when I get home for model and version number.
But as well as me three of my friends who have the new EPG have now got a problem
when we looked at our HD decoders this morning they all said no satellite signal being received.
I have checked my dish and all is fine, reset the Decoder but still the same message.

Re: Sky+HD New EPG Bugs/Faults/Workarounds
Is the option to go back to the old style EPG there?

AFAIK there is no way back. If it is causing you problems I suppose you could try and get the box swapped for one that hasn't been updated, but that would only postpone the inevitable!
