If I cancel Sky HD
After being a HD user for more than 12 months I am going to cancel the HD service. If I do this will they leave my existing Sky+ HD box in place or will I have to get a non HD Sky+ box which has a smaller hard disk?
Cheers

Re: If I cancel Sky HD
Yes, you just won't get all the HD channels that you would have gotten if subscribed.

Re: If I cancel Sky HD
If you have a Sky TV subscription the Sky+ services are free. The subscription for this was dropped some months ago.

Re: If I cancel Sky HD - Anytime still only HD!!
I recently cancelled HD not benefiting much. However most of the Anytime programs are only HD so can't be watched. All the movies are & most of anyother interesting ones. I started to really like anytime so I phoned. 1st lady told me to clear it on services/settings & she would make sure I get normal programs. Takes a few days to come back but when they did still 95% HD. I phoned again and was told I was mis-informed the first time & that it can't be done but I should have a bit of a mix & I have to live with it. The only non-HD programs are a few useless channels. I this this is crazy but suspect they might hope people will go back to HD. What it makes me do is try really hard for alternatives to Sky. Their last over charging issue made we look hard at what I really needed & downgraded my subscription from £67 to £40'ish (inc. HD downgrade) so shot themselves in foot a bit.
