Upgraded to the new FREE offer yesterday

I phoned Sky yesterday and upgraded to the latest free for six months offer on the unlimited broadband. Today I have it up and running although it isn't really any faster than before the unlimited service is very welcome and for a year it won't cost me anymore than the Everyday package. I am surprised no one else has mentioned this offer on SkyUser...

I was starting to think about moving away from Sky until this offer came along. I wasn't happy about the changes to the Everyday package especially lowering the download limit from 40Gb to 10Gb and making Sky Talk essential...

Maybe that is why they have brought out the offer... they could have had enough already leave to force they're hand so to speak

Re: Upgraded to the new FREE offer yesterday

i left sky to go to O2 (11.1.10), i found out 2 days after applying for my mac code, if the woman i spoke to mentioned this, i'd still be with sky, as it was the price increase that made me leave

It's a pity that you didn't do it through Quidco then you would have got £25 cashback like I did.My broadband will only cost me £35 for the next 12 months. You might have to phone Sky and ask them to tweak your line for a better speed because this might not happen automatically, give it a couple of weeks first.
