Top job sky!

First post here!

Ok let me start right from the beginning! It may take a while and become jumbled but here goes...

We have been on talktalk for the past 3 years. The service has been ok but when it went wrong, customer service didn't know their elbow's from their backsides.

Late last year, we were planning of switiching to sky broadband and taking up a TV package. We ran through the motions and decided to hold off until things had settled at home.

So a few weeks ago, we ordered the tv installation as part of our package. While we were at it, we decided on moving to sky broadband as well.

We got home and called talktalk. We got a snotty cow on the end of the phone that refused to give us any information on what we needed and tried to tell us we were still in an 18 month contract... Bear in mind we had been with them since 2006 and only accepted a new one to get the free router that was offered. That would still mean we were out of contract.

So we left it for a few days, didn't think anything of it and were ready to pull the plug on the whole thing. My uncle told me to stick to my guns to which I did.

We were getting nowhere with talktalk and they were even going to order a new bt line to be installed. So I decided to try it the other way...

I called up sky to make sure the order for the tv was all ok and then slipped in the troubles with talktalk. The man at the other end of the phone helped us out and took over.

So now we have it all sorted. We still don't know why TT were pushing a BT line as sky is in LLU here so they would use there own lines. Me thinks it was just a ploy to stop us from leaving but I thought they couldn't play underhand tactics like that... Anyway, we are firing a letter of complaint to them to see if we can get anything back. We have had to pay for another months service that we didn't want due to the woman trying to feed us BS

I can't thank them enough as without us switching the broadband over, we wouldnt be able to afford the TV. Best thing is, I will be able to use the xbox to watch sports in the other room.

Fantastic customer support. Really can not fault it
