Well after only joining this forum in last 2 weeks I have spent many a late night reading past posts, including a late one tonight however tonight was worth it.
Long story short, joined Sky beginning of August, got put to 3mb , 2 weeks ago down to 2. Done all the basic checks found on here. And DLM seemed to fit the bill.
So I followed the advice on here that best to call early in morning to get the good sky advisors, and waited up and spoke to a lovely Lady at Sky.
Told her the issue and how Sky was doing DLM and how I have lost 1mb of DL speed in past 2 week and can she return my line to G.DMT. She even suggested I lower my max connect rate which I forgot about. There was no if's or but's she knew exactly what to do and she done it there and then (watched my statistics change in real time).
I would honestly say that tonight was the best exerience I have had dealing with a call centre.

So best advice for people who have suffered slow speeds: -- Read the forum, search button really is your friend.
- Do all checks on your line that you can do. (again all info on here)
And finally..........
- Stop farting about posting threads on done to death threads on how slow your web has become*, wait up to 2am and call Sky to get it fixed.
*Unless the issue has not been done to death.
