Excellent Service , Just Migrated from BT Broadband after 8 Years

After being with BT for over 8 years paying around £26.99 just for broadband I decided to migrate to Sky as the £20 16Mb Max offer was excellent and could not be matched at those speeds.

BT Service was average I had a few issues with the upgrading my package to the fastest speed which on average was ( 500k/s ) this was about £26.99 + Line Rental which was £11.00 so I was paying around £38.00 a month for Broadband.

Now onto Sky , I called the sales team who answered in around 4-5 Rings on a busy monday afternoon speaking to a english person who was very helpfull , after taking my order I was transfered to migration team who took my MAC code and confirmed my order.

Two days later I received my Letter and Modem with a activation date of the 04.06.2008 , just setup today which was very easy and didn't require any software to be installed or USB Drivers, also the WiFi took about 5 minutes to complete no problem , I have just done a speed test which is touching ( 1,235k/s ) 1.2 Megabits thats twice as fast as BT I was suprised at this speed as I was expecting the same as BT.

All I can say is that SKY so far has provided the best service I could ask for so thank you very much.

Lovely. anything above 11meg is right on the money. You have a low noise margin so you may get a re-sync. best to leave your router on and see what happens. Good to be rid of the profile bracket

be careful with the snr - that's borderline point to dropping connection...

im surprised you were put on adsl2+ with an attenuation that high...
