Netgear Wireless Router / Modem

Just wondering...

Where do we stand in relation to ownership of the Modem / Router supplied by SKY?

The reason i ask is i have just left (well approx 4 months ago) Orange broadband and recently i got a letter from them with pre-paid postage label and a bag to send back the Modem / Router. The letter stated that if i do not return the modem to them i will be charged £100!!! And explained that even though i had fulfilled the 12 month contract and paid up to date that the router was on loan only??

I have changed provider year after year for approx 6 years now and this was a first for me.

Are SKY doing the same? Or do we get to keep the Netgears after the contracted period?

According to the T and C's the router is yours.

Wappy please start a thread on the "gaming on Sky" part of the forums and somebody will be glad to help you.

Hijacking other peoples threads is generally frowned upon and will not normally get you anywhere
