Thanks sky
Finally got my sky package , bit of messing initially for the BB but after a couple of weeks its sorted not sure who's fault if anyones but a new line from BT apparently " not active " sky told me although I used it to speak to sky themselves over the matter...strange but its sorted now .Left VM in a shouting match over a supposed 20meg line which got upto 6meg max after the third engineer had been out which dropped to 650kb by the night time .Speedchecker for a BT line came in at 256kb initially but sky told me it would actually be 512kb and that there is no point paying for extra speed because it would cost money with no gain (honesty ) it has crept upto 1344kbps tonight so I'm more than happy .To be fair when cable was working it was good but since it went to virgin its gone downhill ,I am now saving money for the tv package with a phone and broadband thrown in for free ,just wish they had a newsgroup and I'd be in clover .Thanks to sky and thanks to you guys/gals for running a forum when I was out there looking to swap isp , the info received was welcomed
