Moved from Pipex Homecall after 1 yr of rubbish service - 8 meg connection - SNR around 8, Line Atten around 16, 250mtrs from exchange and all Pipex could give me was 1.7meg.

Over to Sky - All went to plan on the dates they said. New modem / router arrived - plugged in and it worked. 16 meg connection with speeds around 15.3 meg straight away. No problems at all apart from the 2 Xbox issue. I could not be happier.

i agree, you only usually hear the bad side of the story, its human nature - we love to complain when somethings wrong and rarely give credit when things go well.
