I'm blown away and thanks Sky User, too!

It's been 4 weeks today on Max. I used to be with Pipex Homecall who use Tiscali servers and was lucky to get 0.3Mb/s in the evenings. Now I can get about 14Mb/s regardless of the time of day or night, 7 days a week. IE. about 45 times the download speed and twice the upload.
The router came on the 2nd and I was activated on the 4th bang on schedule. I could not believe it when I just plugged in the router and it just worked straight away. Brilliant!
You did'nt get a forum like this with Pipex, either. I just wish I could be as happy with Sky's horrid Sky box for the TV, which crashes every other day.

That's the beauty of an unofficial forum, it is not run for the benefit of the ISP, but the ISP's customers.

Talking of PIPEX, the guys at Freedom2Support - The Independent Freedom2Surf Support Community have released a new website, Tiscali User - The Independent Support Community for Users of Tiscali ISPs for the benefit of all those customers that are currently on any Tiscali owned ISP.

It would appear that we have started a trend for the word USER in an ISP related forum.

I moved from Homecall at the exact same time strangely enough. That's a relief. I've been pleased with ths peeds I'm getting. It's much faster than homecall. I'm getting around 4mbit, and I'm a little less than a mile from the exchange.
