From Mid to Max

Hi this morning i upgraded my sky bb package from mid to max. I wasn't exspecting an increase on download speed cause i knew i was allready going as fast as my line could go it was the upload speed i wanted to improve on mostly. The guy at sky wasn't sure if upgrading would give me faster upload speeds and said to try it and see how it goes and i could allways go back to mid if i wasn't happy. So within a few mins i went from the mid package to the max, i did a few speeds tests and my upload speed has nearly doubled to what it was 81.9KB/sec the last test showed. I was getting about 42 KB/sec on mid. So i am now getting unlimited download use p/m and nearly double the upload speed to what i was getting. Is it worth the extra £5 it will cost me p/m ? i guess so if i will be using it.

The guy on the phone told me he put a note on his pc to say i could downgrade again to mid if i wasn't happy with what i was getting. I hope i can anyway but i don't think i will downgrade cause all seems to be ok.

Re: From Mid to Max

ahh ok, i think on the forum there has only been one person who has downgraded, that's because he lived miles from his exchange and had huge errors!
