If they say Win 7 is not compatible with the app upgrade to Win 10. Win 7 is a valid OS to upgrade from.

this error occurs when background process stop the app playing or connecting to sky server
try completely removing both app and cisco player as well do full reboot down load new copy before installing right click download and run as administrator as first course then check was process running in windows when player launched can be affect by other media player running at same timr

Or, maybe as I suggested, get an up to date OS.

WINDOWS 7 is a hell of a lot better than windows 10 will ever be.

If you run Win 10 with Classic Shell it is indistinguishable from Win 7, but is up to date OS wise. You get a choice of 3 Start menus and can get rid of the annoying Tabs on your Desktop.

Sorry, I can't help with the error code, but the quote of Sky Support says "that WIN 7 is not compatible with the new sky go app due to limitations of windows 7 64bit" is completely untrue.
I'm running Sky Go perfectly well on Windows 7 64bit Pro and Windows 7 64bit home PC's with no problems at all.
Personally I'd recommend holding off Windows 10 for as long as possible unless the Sky Go app is the only program running on the PC. Even then, don't pay for the "upgrade"
I have to support Windows 10 in a corporate environment where several of it's more annoying features can be turned off, but it's still a nightmare.
