      Re: Only Internet Explorer??

      Hi highdef.
      Windows 10 does support IE. When running the Edge browser on any sites that need plug ins you have the built in option in settings to run Internet Explorer 11 instead. To access the settings just click on the three dots in the top right hand corner, and then click on Open With Internet Explorer.

      You can still use Firefox if you do a google search for Firefox Extended Support Release and download and install that version. For some reason the 64 bit Windows version doesn't work, so you will need to download the 32 bit version.

      There is also a workaround to allow you to use Chrome browser. Download and install the IE Tab extension. Load the page as you would normally. Then click on the icon which looks like an E inside a Circle, next to the Star icon at the top right of the screen. That opens up the page as if you were using IE.

      There's a Sky Go Player app coming soon (eventually) for Windows 10, I believe.
      I think this app is already available on iOS devices.

      Thanks. Its definitely on Android/Google Store as I have it and works very well. Just checked the Window 10 app store and not there yet. Its there but says its not available in the UK. Thats funny I thought that it should be only the UK that its available

      Yes its there but not available in the UK. I was led to bellive that the UK is the only place that it would be allowed to work in.

      I am running Sky Go via Google Chrome and the IE tab as it works perfectly. You can also run it via Firefox 51 (and you would need to block future updates).

      Re: Only Internet Explorer??

      The developers at Sky are working on this.

      I'm not privy to the reasons for the delay, but noises have been made via a private board or two.

      All I can say at this time is that you can use the older version of FF, which again isn't secure, as well as IE. There might be some other less used browsers which are compatible as well. Please feel free to try them as well.

      If you like Firefox, use the Pale Moon Browser. It works fine with Sky Go.
      Its a lighter 32 bit version of Mozilla firefox.

      Make sure you download the x86 32 bit version;

      Re: Only Internet Explorer??

      Was just about to ask about the new app. Still using IE here (with Win10). It works ok most of the time though I rolled back to an older version of Silverlight after having stability issues with what was the latest.

      Look forward to trying the new app, and if they need any beta testers....
