This is for Outlook Express 6:

Tools > Accounts > Mail Tab > Add...Mail

Input your Sky supplied Username and Password here:

Mail on Mac OSX:

When you launch Mail for the first time, or when you are adding a new account, you will see the New Account Window. Set the Account type to "POP3".

Account Description can be whatever you wish.

Enter your name, then your email address, then click Continue.

Enter your incoming mail server and your Sky username.

Enter your password if you wish. Click Continue. Mail will attempt a connection to the mail server to check the validity of the server and ID.

Use the following SMTP server information. No password needed.

You will see a verification screen where you can verify that your information is correct. Once you have verified your information, you will see the following screen. Click Done, and you're ready to go.

Cannot connect

Thanks for the tutorial, but when I try to send and receive using OE I get the error:

The server responded with an error. Account: 'pop.sky.com', Server: 'pop.sky.com', Protocol: POP3, Server Response: '-ERR AVG POP3 Proxy Server: Cannot connect to the mail server!', Port: 110, Secure(SSL): No, Server Error: 0x800CCC90, Error Number: 0x800CCC90

Any ideas?

You haven't ticked secure password authentication have you?

I just tested it and works fine for me. Also double check your username/password.
