    yahoo mail down?

This is a discussion on yahoo mail down? within the Sky Email and Portal Log-in forums, part of the Sky Broadband help and support category; One of my sky emails has not been working since lunch time today. Is anyone else having a problem?...

Yes. I had a peculiar text message. "At Sky we take the security of your data and information extremely seriously. We have been informed by Yahoo, the provider of your Sky.com email account, that your account may have been compromised. Therefore as a precaution we have locked your Sky.com email account. To unlock your account and change your password, please visit Sky.com. We're sorry for any inconvenience this has caused. Sender. Sky"

      Any ideas?

      Re: yahoo mail down?

This afternoon suddenly I could no longer access a Sky email account. Their system tells me "Sorry, we did not recognise either your username or password". As a result, I can't log in to my main Sky account to reset anything. Is this a known glitch? What's the best way to deal with it? It will be an utter pain if I have to change the email address on a lot of other accounts.

      Many thanks

      Re: yahoo mail down?

OK All Solved. There was some security alert & Sky had reset the password. They had sent an email to the email account I had nominated for recovery, which I eventually found. Then I was able to reset the password and log in again. Panic over, but heart rate not recovered!
