      missing all mail folder

can anyone help me with this?
i used to have an 'all mail' folder when accessing sky email on the web where all my previous emails were stored (both sent and received). now on the web mail after migration i only have a 'sent' mail folder for old emails i have sent (around 9000 stored in there). none of my old received emails are there to search through at all. my inbox only contains current emails received.
is this just my issue or has everyone got this problem of the missing 'all mail' folder.

      many thanks.

      Re: missing all mail folder

You are not alone, I too had a good few thousand stored mails in the All Mail folder within the Google setup, which have now gone.

This email setup with Yahoo, is far, far inferior to the one that we had with Google.

      Re: missing all mail folder

100's of people have posted about this over on the sky forum, me included.
      So many threads.
      So many angry people...

There may have been a breakthrough though.
Just a few minutes ago, somebody posted that sky have transferred over their archived mail from the old 'all mail' folder.

      Re: missing all mail folder

Just found this detail in another thread, which may help, Just need to work out how to download all the mails in the All Mail folder now. See following:

If you login to your sky yahoo mail and then open another tab making sure you are still logged in to you new email. On the new tab use the link below which will then log you into your old sky gmail account and allow you o make any required amendments.

      Re: missing all mail folder

You can forward each email one at a time, but that's not practical for people with 1000's of emails.
There's other workarounds too, but none are perfect.

This issue has been raging for weeks over on the sky forum.
Hopefully they've just worked out how to do it automatically (you know, like they said they would months ago) & these workarounds will become redundant.
