Re: Sky email and the Galaxy S3
Having never used Android, I've no idea how to set up Exchange push with that put here's iOS set up instructions. I would imagine most of the settings will be similar (certainly the server settings)
Also I can confirm even if you read emails on the phone, you can still see/read them on the desktop (set-up as IMAP) until you delete them. Delete emails from phone or desktop and they automatically delete from the other devices.

Re: Sky email and the Galaxy S3
Being an Android geek I know how to set up the email clients but this one has me stumped. I don't have the phone to hand as it's my Dad's but it's a SIM-free handset. Could it be because I'm using the FULL email address (like you do in Outlook) instead of just the bit before @sky.com for the username?

Re: Sky email and the Galaxy S3
I have the galaxy s2.
On the Email App I had to use the settings from the forum here to configure it correctly as pop3.
On the GMail App I just put the email address and the password in and it configured it itself, probably due to it being hosted by google.
I should add I'm running ICS 4.0.4 so it should be the same as on the S3.Last edited by bubblegun; 02-07-12 at 02:41 PM. Reason: forgot something

Re: Sky email and the Galaxy S3
Gmail app is easy, but the S3 Email app will NOT take my Dad's login credentials at all

Re: Sky email and the Galaxy S3
In fact just realised I use the GMail app not the default email app for my Sky email account for exactly the same reason. They are virtually identical.
