Gotto this link Download Windows Mail from Vista for Use in Windows 7 My Digital Life
To see how to get and install Windows Mail (Vista`s replacement for Outlook express, can be made to work on Win 7).
You should be able to set up your email account just like you had it in express.

If you had used the migration tool you may have been able to bring the account back into Windows live mail.

Re: Windows 7 email set up

Win 7 does not have a built in client like Outlook Express, you have to download Windows Live Mail. It replaces OE and in fact does much more. Have a look here for further information.-
So long Outlook Express! Introducing Windows Live Mail

true, as this is what i've done

@OP
i have the files you want in my rapidshare account, if you want these, just gives a PM, please state if you need the 32 or 64 bit versions

also, do you still have an older PC set up with OE?, as you can export your settings, then import them into WM, then it's all set up for you
