Sky email account with Microsoft Outlook 2010.

Thanks! Actually just spotted it myself about 15 minutes ago... when I was entering the numbers it kept blanking & I had to keep doing it again, so that's how.

They probably just mean they are not fully trained to support Outlook 2010 yet, until they have sorted out a process and trained it out then the staff have to say they do not support it yet. If you set it up as above it should work as outlook is just a tool to access the servers. If it works on Gmail (which I guarantee it does) then it should work on Sky mail too.

Followed the advice above. Worked in 2007 but not in 2010. I get the messages:

' None of the authentication methods supported by this client are supported by your server.'
and
'Your email server rejected your login with ... SPA. Verify the account properties in account settings.'

It sounds like you have the box for Secure Password Authentification checked.
If you have uncheck it!

I'm having problems setting up my Sky account in Outlook 2010. Can anybody see what's wrong?

follow Azasmith`s instuctions and all will be ok i have just set mine up and it works perfectly

I have tried everything that has been said to try and link my sky email account to outlook 2010, but everytime I test, it states 'failed'. I have copied everything over correctly, all the settings are correct, so why won't it work?

The most common error is not putting @sky.com after the username in the settings. Pic #2 above. Have you done this?
