      Whats going on with Sky Email - February 2008

      That way you should be able to use any Email address that you register with. Just a suggestion. Your call.

      Not ideal, but better than relying on Sky to provide email. Who wants a @sky.com email addy anyway? I don't. Especially if I later decide to move.

      Not seen that one before! Do you have another email account anywhere that you can set up to test whether it is a setup problem with your Outlook Express?

      Ideally it needs to be one using port 995 for POP so it might be an idea to open another account with Gmail and see if that works with your OE.

      If it is your OE at fault I would suspect the only option is a reinstall!

      Another thing to try, turn any software firewalls off briefly?

      in the security settings in outlook there should be a box for secure:try to untick Requires Secure Password Authentication in the login information in outlook.
      have you tryed unlocking captcha

      Make sure that you have checked Log in using secure password, it is something like that, usually this works.

      sometimes when u tick this box it does not work hence the error message:Unable to logon to the server using Secure Password Authentication.
