      Able to Send But Not Recieve Sky Emails

      Hi All,
      Have been with Sky for years now, but never had problems like I'm having now. I am on the phone to Technical every day now with no help.My last email received was on Tuesday 2 weeks ago. I'm able to log on with my user/password but only get to a page showing the latest 5 emails I have received, as soon as I click to view, the page opens with error at the bottom then finally opens fully with a blank page that stats 'done' in the botton left h corner...this also happens if I try to navigate anywhere from this page such as inbox etc.
      Anyone else experiencing this problem as the people at Sky do not seem to be bothered.
      Please HELP.

      Eh John, try the following advice from miccon. It may just work m8.

      If you can recieve email but cant send through outlook try setting smtp setting back to the old ones. ie "smtp.sky.com" in advance settings set portal number from 465 back to 25 and untick ssl
      done this a little while ago and everythings going great.

      Thanks Steve, but the problem is that I can send email but not recieve any. I can see them on the sky website once i've logged in but not open them. Just spoke to their technical helpline to which they just told me the servers been down for 2 weeks so no one has sky email. Somehow I dont belive her...thanks for your help anyway.

      It's not that the servers are down but there are a number of accounts that still have issues after the completion of the migration. Yours would seem to be one of them. Your issue will need escalating to the email group for resolution as there will be nothing that T1 can do to sort this most likely.
      Best bet is to call back tomorrow or sometime before 11pm tonight as most calls go to the Philipines after 11 at night, prior to that most if not all calls are handled in the UK which may suprise some here who seem to think we offload to India.

      I had exactly same problem on office xp outlook 2002. Had to dowload sp3 from microsoft (link here)http://www.microsoft.com/downloads/d...displaylang=en
      After applying update everything was alright.
