Hi All

This is my first post to the forum.
I have finally exhausted all my searching and decided to ask for help here.

Everything i've read relates to pop3 email.

My situation is:

Im using IMAP
This enables me to access on my laptop, at work and on my iphone and keep all the messages in all locations
However I can access from work through the web portal perfectly, and on my iphone perfectly , but Windows Vista Mail has not worked for about 2 / 3 weeks now just rejects my username and password credentials.

I dont use pop3, only IMAP, but cant understand why it works on liine and on my phone wirelessly

Any help would be much appreciated

You may need to ccheck vista hasn't corrupted the password, also try going to the following address and then follow the instructions using the PC you cannot access email through (make sure windows mail is closed).

My wife seems to be getting this error when she's trying to send a email from outlook (XP)

An unknown error has occurred. Subject 'List', Account: 'Charlotte', Server: 'smtp.tools.sky.com', Protocol: SMTP, Port: 465, Secure(SSL): Yes, Error Number: 0x800CCC0B

Any ideas please?

Ok fixed i hadn't got " My server requires authentication " ticked though I'm sure i had when i set this up a while ago , weird....

I had the same problem and resolved it by completely removing the email account and starting a new one.
