That is a very good point - if your username has a hyphen in it then it will never work!

Hmmm, interesting! Do you get an error or does it just repeatedly ask you for your username/password?

I've added in the PDF that Sky sent, and also detailed something called Recent mode - which is how you can make more than one POP client check your messages - handy for Mobiles.

No errors.
Just the usual Outlook username and password pop-up box continuosly until I go back to UnlockCaptcha page, enter details and from there it's fine.
Log off and come back later in the day and it's locked again .. doesn't make sense?

Re: New Sky Email Tips & Solutions - so far...

It seems to be a password problem. I tried UnlockCaptcha with my password I use to log onto Sky, which I had to change as they lost my previous password. This did not work. I then tried my old password for Sky email and it worked.

I have just logged onto Outlook, but it did not work and asked for my password again. I put in my old one which did not work, then put in my new Sky Mail password and it did!! Weird!!

Hope this makes sense!

If you have had to change your password, you may need to enter you new one now, i.e. the one for the Sky Mail in IE.

Question Re: New Sky Email Tips & Solutions - so far...

I'm using Outlook Express to access my email and, having madethe necessary changes to servers and ports etc it works fine.............until I turn off my PC. When the PC is restarted MS Outlook Express has lost the new settings and I have to keep reentering them every time I boot up. Anyone any ideas?
