Yahoo and Hotmail on Outlook Express

I find it very estrange that OE won't recognize my password for my hotmail and yahoo-mail accounts, I have a couple of other email with different providers and it works just fine. I wonder if it could be the something related to my router blocking a necessary port used by the outlook express. Has anyone experienced something similar??

BTW, I tried to use Thunderbird email client just to have a test and had exactly the same problem, only Hotmail and Yahoo don't work, the other email accounts will!

      Any help?

Yahoo! isn't compatible unless u have all the server details....Hotmail (AFAIK) is a paid extra to use with an email client - having said that i have my hotmail running with Outlook 2003

I always had hotmail running on outlook express with no problem, the problem is that I've just got a new computer so I had to set it up again. Could that be the prob?

About the yahoo!, I don't really know about Outlook but it is supposed to work with Thunderbird as it has an specific plugin to allow Yahoo to run.
