Re: New Sky Email SMTP and POP Settings (powered by Google)

I have set that up but get the same message when I try to log in there aswell:- Account: 'pop.tools.sky.com', Server: 'pop.tools.sky.com', Protocol: POP3, Server Response: '-ERR [AUTH] Username and password not accepted.', Port: 995, Secure(SSL): Yes, Server Error: 0x800CCC90, Error Number: 0x800CCC92

It seems that my password or username is wrong, don't know why it would change. Is it the same as the My Sky password? That is the only thing that I have changed recently.

Antony

Re: New Sky Email SMTP and POP Settings (powered by Google)

Antony, have you been upgraded to the new email powered by Google. If not then you should not be using these settings as they will not work for you.

Re: New Sky Email SMTP and POP Settings (powered by Google)

Yeah I know that but shouldn't we wait until our accounts are switched over to Google before using these settings ?

Re: New Sky Email SMTP and POP Settings (powered by Google)

I have recently subscribed to Sky, but would like to continue to use Outlook. I have tried and tried so far without success. I have downloaded instructions from the internet and followed them exactly. Is there a helpline that would talk me through it?
