Angry Sorry, Help again please. DLM after 60 days...

Hi. I posted some time back regarding DLM on my line - Help please....DLM?. I have done a bit of housekeeping with the telephone lines at home and have got the statistics to:

Uptime 1603.62 1559.62
Wan up 853.76 834.17
adslctl: ADSL driver and PHY status
Status: ShowtimeRetrain Reason: 8000
Channel: FAST, Upstream rate = 796 Kbps, Downstream rate = 6143 Kbps
Link Power State: L0
Mode: ADSL2+
Channel: Fast
Trellis: U:ON /D:ON
Line Status: No Defect
Training Status: Showtime
Down Up
SNR (dB): 15.3 13.0
Attn(dB): 35.5 21.2
Pwr(dBm): 13.0 12.8
Max(Kbps): 13928 896
Rate (Kbps): 6143 796

I have been on this now for approximately 60 days and am getting a bit peeved to say the least. Can some of the experts on here please tell me what speed I should expect ( used to get 11+meg) and who, when to contact Sky and what to say? I really appreciate any help given too. Thanks, Stu...

If you have sorted the wiring out plug your router and phone into your test socket if you have one (or main socket) and call Sky tech support tonight. No point hanging around, just tell them you have slow speeds and want to be put through TS so you can go to CST.

Thanks for that. I plugged the router/phone into the test socket and then put the faceplate back on with no difference in results. I have no extensions as the house is all on DECT phones.
Does anyone please have the number I need to ring as I'm struggling to find it?

How did you put the faceplate back on if the phone was in the test socket?

Sorry about that. I meant that I put it back to normal and plugged into the faceplate with no difference in the stats. Also, thank you for the phone number Paul.

Re: Sorry, Help again please. DLM after 60 days...

Well, after a few days of e-mail tennis somebody in the know has reconfigured my connection and this is what my current stats are.

Uptime 146543.85 145379.25
Wan up 132542.13 131550.09
adslctl: ADSL driver and PHY status
Status: ShowtimeRetrain Reason: 1
Channel: FAST, Upstream rate = 765 Kbps, Downstream rate = 11263 Kbps
Link Power State: L0
Mode: ADSL2+
Channel: Fast
Trellis: U:ON /D:ON
Line Status: No Defect
Training Status: Showtime
Down Up
SNR (dB): 8.1 9.5
Attn(dB): 35.5 21.1
Pwr(dBm): 1.5 12.8
Max(Kbps): 14496 1020
Rate (Kbps): 11263 765

Well I'm happy now and I hope it remains stable. I have e-mailed the guy at Sky back and said thank you to him. Wether or not he gets it is another matter but at least I tried.
