If you mean as in gb's downloaded. I doubt it, there was a rumour that Sky may implement CAPS but was pretty much denied, as they are no where near capacity on their networks.

I would assume DLM is an unknown quantity until upto 20 days of being activated have passed.

the DLM is an automatic system that we at sky have.it will reduce your speed while it does tests on your line.now this will take a maxim of 10 days but we must ask u to LEAVE YOUR ROUTER TURNED ON for this period of time untill u can see an increase in your speed again. its here to help u so there will be no problems in the future.

I meant capped in terms of connection speeds, seems most people have lost out.

Its plain to see sky have really messed this one up.

The DLM on my line started on the 30/05/08 so its nealy 20 days and still my connection has dropped by 70% I will keep the forum up to date with my events ZZZzzzzzzzzz

Hi Darzo

Im just confused some say 10 days others 20 days for DLM to complete. If DLM is so important sky should have informed uesrs to keep routers on.

DLM on my line is now in its 18th day

with regards t those who've lost out - it's only the people reporting here that have lost out...

monitored connections at Skys end show the VAST majority are within 1Mbps of previous speeds or actually above previous speeds...

With the average user connecting at say 5Mbps - a 1Mbps reduction represents a 20% loss of speed! A 1Mbps reduction on a 3Mbps connection represents a 33% loss of speed - not insignificant I think you will agree!

Perhaps you should take a step back and try looking at it it from the customer's point of view for once.
