my line used to be stable @ 15323kbps for 18 months, now dropped to 8196kbps, Sky say can't do anything until DLM ended, this started on 4th June & still not finished as of today 18th June, thinking of changing to O2

Darzo, my DLM started 4th June and all I have seen is speeds drop, although it has remained at 8196kbps for last 2 days, when I contacted Sky by email they replied to say that once DLM had ended, not sure when as still on going as of today 18th June, then I will have to contact them again to readjust the line but you imply that it will increase automatically, please can you confirm, also how will I know that DLM has ended for sure without phoning them, please advise , I used to sync @ 15232 for 18 months with no real probs

True IANTE but surely something of this significance should have been conveyed to the customers concerned with details of what they may endure. Rather than just going full steam ahead

Re: Is DLM sky's way to cap people ??

18 days and counting still on dlm. It may be only broadband but its important to people.
Its like giving with one hand and taking it away with the other.

A little information can go a long wayyyyyyyy.

Yes I am going to wait it out, as have had no real probs with Sky until this , is just annoying though not to have been told before it all happened .especially as like a lot of people I normally turn my router off at night , have now left it on 24/7 once I found about DLM , can anyone report if their DLM has ended and what has happended to their speed , did it increase again automatically ? Thanks
