      They should increase MAX to 20/1

      That way, after the speeds have gone down, I should get what I had before

      Re: DLM Update from Sky

      It took me hours to find out the this DLM was going on and in the meantime my broadband experience is now worse than the bad old dial up days. I can't believe that this problem has been going on for months. My optimisation started yesterday so I am told by Sky and that is when my problems began. I have wasted so much time trying to rectify the problem and the some of the Sky call centre operators do not seem to be aware of it, let alone give any advice.

      Re: DLM Update from Sky

      I was on Sky Mid and just upgraded to Sky Unlimited. My question is: If the DLM lasts 10 - 20 days - is that 10 - 20 days after I've upgraded or do they just start it couple of days after the upgrade. And, is there any way of checking whether or not the tests are stopping bring run without calling sky? And Also, I have switched off my router a couple times because I broke my Master Socket (Test Socket) - I'm 12, I'm just tryna be smart here - and I want to know whether or not you can ask sky to restart the tests so this time I can keeps it on for 10 days to get maximum speed.

      Thanks =]

      Re: DLM Update from Sky

      It usually starts within 72hrs of the upgrade, you can track it on your MySky page on the website (sometimes).

      If after 10 days your stats show your noise margin to be higher than 7-8db then a call to Sky may be required. You best bet is to post your router stats now and then again in a few days to see if they are changing. DLM usually re-syncs during the early hours.

      If your stats have stopped changing then DLM has probally finished.
